On Main St in Downtown Garland · Walk-ins welcome

Our story

Same chair.
Same hands. Since 1994.

Duran opened the doors on Main Street in 1994 with one idea: a real neighborhood barbershop where you could get an honest cut, a straight-razor shave, and a little conversation. Thirty years on, that hasn't changed — only the number of regulars who now bring their sons and grandsons in.

What we're about

We're an old-fashioned barbershop, and we mean that as a compliment. No apps between you and your barber, no rushing you out of the chair, no upsell you didn't ask for. You come in, you get taken care of, you leave looking your best. It's not complicated — folks have just forgotten it's supposed to feel like this.

Duran and the guys have logged a lot of years behind these chairs. That's how a fade comes out clean and a straight-razor shave feels like the best part of your week. Skill you can only get from doing the same thing, well, thousands of times over.

And because we've been on this block for three decades, our name is on every head that walks out. Half of downtown Garland has sat in these chairs at some point — that reputation is the whole business.

1

Take our time

No conveyor-belt cuts. Your barber works until it's right, not until the clock says next.

2

Know your name

Come in twice and you're a regular. We remember your cut, your kid's, and how the season's treating you.

3

Honest prices

What's on the board is what you pay. Fair for a real barber's work, and never a surprise at the register.

The promise

“You don't leave this chair until you'd shake my hand on the way out. That's how it's been since day one.”

— Duran & the team

Sit in the chair once. You'll get it.

Three generations of Garland already have. Walk in this week and see what a real barbershop feels like.
