Our story
Independent. Local.
On your side of the estimate.
Around here, a shifting problem too often gets one answer from the big outfits: a full rebuild, quoted before anyone drove the car. We built this shop to be the other kind of transmission shop — the one that road-tests first, explains what it found, and quotes the fix you actually need.
How we work
It starts with a free diagnostic road test and a computer scan — not a quote. Transmissions are expensive enough that you deserve to know what's actually wrong before anyone talks money. When we do talk money, it's a written estimate: repair versus rebuild, side by side, in plain English.
If a $200 solenoid fixes what a chain shop would have rebuilt, that's what we tell you — even when it costs us the bigger ticket. And when a rebuild really is the right call, we do it the slow, correct way: full teardown, quality parts, a final road test, and a warranty in writing.
We live here too. Our reputation in Olathe rides on every car that leaves this shop, and that's not a slogan — it's the whole business model.
Straight diagnosis
Road test and scan before any quote. We find the actual problem, not the profitable one.
Rebuild only when needed
The least expensive fix that will actually last is the one we quote. In writing, every time.
A phone that answers
Call (555) 555-5555 and a human picks up — the same people who'll be under your car.
The promise
“If we'd fix it cheaper on our own truck, that's the fix we'll quote on yours.”

The road test and estimate are free. Worst case, you drive away knowing exactly what's wrong.
