Transmission Rebuilds

When a rebuild is genuinely the right call, we do it the slow, correct way: complete teardown, every hard part inspected, worn clutches, bands, and seals replaced with quality components, then bench-checked and road-tested before you get the keys back.

  • Full teardown & inspection — you can see the worn parts
  • Written warranty on parts & labor, terms on the estimate
  • Road-tested and re-checked before handoff

Repairs & Reseals

Most shifting problems don't need a rebuild. Solenoids, valve bodies, sensors, external seals, and leaks can all masquerade as a “dying transmission.” If a targeted repair fixes it and lasts, that's what we quote — in writing, before we start.

  • Diagnosis first — free scan & road test
  • Repair vs. rebuild explained in plain English
  • No “while we're in there” surprises
/03

Fluid Exchange & Preventive Service

The cheapest insurance a transmission can buy. Fluid, filter, and pan gasket service on the interval your vehicle actually calls for — and an honest answer on whether your car needs a full exchange or a simple drain-and-fill.

  • Correct fluid spec for your make & model
  • We flag small problems before they're expensive ones
  • In and out the same day, by appointment
/04

Clutch, Differential & Driveline

Manual clutches, flywheels, and hydraulics; differentials, transfer cases, and axle seals for 4WD and AWD rigs. Work trucks and small fleets welcome — we keep Olathe's working vehicles working.

  • All makes & models — domestic, Asian, European
  • Fleet scheduling & consolidated invoicing available
  • Road-tested before every handoff

Common questions

Asked and answered.

Do I really need a rebuild?
Often, no. Solenoids, sensors, leaks, and low or burnt fluid can all imitate a failing transmission. The free road test and scan tell us which one you have — and we quote the least expensive fix that will actually last. A rebuild is our last answer, not our first.
How long does a rebuild take?
Most rebuilds are done within about a week of your approval, and the written estimate includes an honest timeline for your specific unit. If parts availability changes that, you hear it from us before it becomes your problem.
Do you work on my make and model?
Domestic, Asian, and European — automatics, manuals, CVTs, and 4WD/AWD drivelines. Call (555) 555-5555 with your year, make, and model and we'll confirm on the spot.
Is the work under warranty?
Yes. Rebuilds and major repairs come with a written parts-and-labor warranty, and the exact terms are printed on your estimate before we start — not discovered after.
